CONTENTS CLEANING
We provide a detailed inventory with photos and/or videos!
Assessment “Pack-Out” Cleaning & Restoration “Pack In”
At Recoveron, we understand that the cleaning and restoration of your furniture, clothes, collectibles and other belongings are just as important to you as the restoration of your structure. In every case, the contents process begins with an overall assessment of the scope of the damage. The assessment will be completed by a Recoveron contents manager, the insurance adjuster, and the property owner. Part of this assessment is for all parties to work together at the scene to determine what is salvageable.
Following moving industry “best practices,” we initiate the “pack-out” stage, which entails going through the building’s contents and removing items from the scene. With inventories that detail every item in every box and tags for oversize items, we start an unbreakable chain of custody, whether an item is slated for repair, cleaning or disposal. This inventory is further supported by digital photos and/or videos.
Cleaning and restoration methods vary widely, depending upon the object and the type of damage incurred. Common to the various methods are the process controls that govern the overall flow of items through our climate-controlled facilities. Whether restored by high-tech ultrasonic cleaning, deodorized by ozone fogging or just carefully cleaned and restored by hand, the items are unpacked, inventoried and repacked or retagged at every stage.
“Pack-in” is the final step of the process when we return the insured’s belongings and place every box or item back where we found it, in the newly restored home or business.

DRY ICE BLASTING
Dry ice blasting provides a more thorough, higher quality and more cost effective cleaning.
Dry ice blasting provides fast and efficient removal of smoke and soot damage, without compromising the surface integrity. Dry ice blasting also implements complete removal, even in the tight angles of trusses, around nails, wiring and all plumbing. It is a much faster and cleaner than the tradition of cleaning methods.
What is Dry Ice Blasting?
As part of our commitment to utilizing the newest technology and state of the art processes, Recoveron Restoration Services employs Dry ice blasting for fire and mold remediation services. Dry ice blasting (also referred to as CO2 blasting) is similar to sand or soda blasting, where a medium is accelerated in a pressurized air stream to impact the surface that is to be cleaned or prepared. But that is where the similarity ends. Instead of using a hard, abrasive medium to grind on the surface, dry ice blasting uses soft dry ice, making it completely non-abrasive. One unique aspect of using dry ice particles as a blast medium is that the particles vaporize upon impact with the surface. That means no secondary waste, as in other forms of blasting. Dry ice blasting is nonflammable, nonconductive and, since there are no secondary contaminants, it is non-toxic and environmentally friendly. As a result, dry ice blasting provides a more thorough, higher quality and more cost-effective cleaning.
