Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Recoveron Inc. (“Recoveron,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects through recoveron.com, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It applies to this website, including its forms and the Q & A chat assistant. It does not cover information we collect in person or over the phone while doing work at your property, or the websites of other companies we link to.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Callback and quote requests. Your name, phone number, email address, street address, ZIP code, a description of the damage or project, and anything else you type into the form.
  • Questionnaires and referrals. Your answers and ratings, your name, the service we performed and, for referrals, the contact details of the person you refer.
  • Job applications. Our employment application on the Careers page is provided by JotForm. It asks for contact details, work history, education, references and other information needed to consider you for a job.
  • Partner mailing list. If you sign up as a referral partner, your name, email address, company, phone number and mailing address.
  • Chat messages. Everything you type (or say, if you use voice input) in the Q & A chat assistant, including any contact details you choose to share there.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical information. Your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, the page that sent you here and the date and time of your visit. Our forms record the IP address, browser type and page each submission came from.
  • Chat usage. A chat session ID, the page you were on, the page that referred you and events such as opening the chat.
  • Security logs. Our security software records IP addresses, browser information and requested pages to protect the site against attacks and spam.

How we use your information

  • To call you back, answer your questions, schedule an assessment and provide quotes and services.
  • To work with your insurance company on a claim when you ask us to.
  • To review job applications and contact applicants.
  • To send partner mailings to people who signed up for them.
  • To answer questions through the Q & A chat assistant and to improve its answers.
  • To learn how people use our website and make it work better.
  • To keep the website secure and prevent spam and fraud.
  • To meet legal obligations and protect our rights.

The Q & A chat assistant

The Q & A chat assistant is an automated, AI-powered tool. It is not a person. When you use it, your messages are sent to an artificial intelligence service provider, currently OpenAI or Anthropic, to generate a reply. We store chat conversations on our website so our team can follow up with you and improve the assistant. Our providers process your messages to provide the service, under their own terms.

Please do not share sensitive information in the chat, such as insurance policy numbers, payment details, Social Security numbers or health information. The assistant can make mistakes. For an emergency, call us at 920-469-3473.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. We use a small number of them:

  • Chat session cookie. Keeps your chat conversation together as you move between pages. It lasts 30 days.
  • Browser storage for the chat. Remembers settings such as whether the chat invitation was already shown.
  • Security and spam protection. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA, and our security software may set cookies to tell people from automated traffic.
  • Website administration. WordPress sets cookies for people who log in to manage the site.
  • Embedded content. Google Maps on our Contact page and the JotForm application on our Careers page may set their own cookies.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, the chat assistant and some forms may not work properly.

Do Not Track. Browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common standard for responding to it, so our website does not change its behavior when it receives one. Since we do not track you across other websites, the signal would not change what we collect.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing. We share it only in these situations:

  • Service providers who help us run the website and our business, such as our website host, our email provider, Google (reCAPTCHA and Maps), JotForm (job applications) and our AI providers for the chat assistant. They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
  • Your insurance company or adjuster, when you ask us to work with them on a claim.
  • Our Recoveron Industrial division, if you ask about commercial or industrial work.
  • Legal reasons, when required by law or to protect the rights, property or safety of Recoveron, our customers or others.
  • A business transfer, such as a sale or merger of our company, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.

How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to provide warranties and service, keep business and tax records, and resolve disputes. Form submissions and chat conversations are reviewed and deleted when they are no longer needed. Security logs are kept for a limited time.

How we protect information

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, limited staff access and security software. No website or transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

  • Access, correction and deletion. You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We may need to keep some information to meet legal or business obligations.
  • Emails. You can unsubscribe from partner mailings at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us.
  • Phone calls. When you ask for a callback, we use your number to call you about your request. Tell us at any time if you do not want further calls.

To make a request, email [email protected] or call 920-469-3473. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. Residents of some states may have additional rights under their state’s laws; contact us and we will respond as those laws require.

Children

Our website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other websites

Our website links to other sites, such as Recoveron Industrial, LinkedIn and review sites. Their privacy practices are their own, so please read their policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make significant changes, we will post a notice on this website.
